Noob question here..
In an existing drawing, I right clicked on a view boundary and selected Active Sketch View. I made a quick sketch on the view and now I'm trying to get out of that. I would like to make another sketch on the drawing not associated with a view. I can change the active sketch to another view, but I can't seem to figure out how to exit the command completely. I'm sure it is something simple, but it has me stumped.
Thanks in advance.

What version of NX are you running?

While there is a 'Finish Sketch' button, it sounds like you've discovered that it will automatically go back to the previous active sketch if you were to try and create another sketch curve after selecting the 'Finish Sketch' button. What you need to do is either select another view and make it the 'Active Sketch View' or else, as you've indicated that you wish to do, just select the outer edge of the Drawing sheet itself, press MB3 and make IT the 'Active Sketch View'.

Note that by default, unless one of the Drawing views has been set as the 'Active Sketch View', the Drawing sheet will always be the 'Active Sketch View'.
