How do I delete surface regions?

Strange, this. I can sketch a region onto a surface - in this case it is a shell - and the surface is divided.

But after that I see no means of changing or deleting the surface region?!?

What's up with that?

in the simulation features(Model Tree).you have the surface region which can be deleted using RMB.

Right you are, thanks a lot!

I was looking for some sort of entry in the tree for the surface regions, but I expected them to be among "Simulation Features" or such. It never occured to me to look at the assembly part entries.

I'm grateful! ^_^
