Hovering & Highlighting

Good morning to all,
Is there a setting or soething that I can change that will allow me to hover my cursor over components in the assembly tree and have them "highlight" or be identified in the assembly model? I thought I saw someone else do this with the planes. He would hover over the planes in the FM and they would highlight in the model space.

Tools > System Options > Display Selection > Dynamic highlight from graphics view

My selection is already checked but it is also greyed out at the same time.

Any idea what makes this box inactive?

You were correct on the LAM. Thanks, now the highlighting works well.
