I came across this reference thread regarding flash tanks needed for blowdowns. I am not sure how you are handling the solids separation from the blowdown but have you considered using an automatic pressure filter? It has been used in crystallizer blowdowns off of zero-liquid discharge systems working with 20 -25% TSS salt brines at 250 deg F. The only company I know of that makes an inexpensive unit is Oberlin Filter Company. I think the website is oberlinfilter.com
