Crystalrae suggested I use Hot Keys to increase my screen working area. What are Hot Keys? Is there a list?
Thanks

Bill,
Go to your AutoCAD Help and look for "COMMAND ALIASES".
This list all the keyboard shortcuts.

Look for a file acad.pgp (my home machine has it as aclt.pgp). This is a text file and part of it has the 'hotkey' assignments. I've revised a few of them such that 'o' opens a file rather than osnap function. I'm kinda lazy and like to use my keyboard as much as I can.

By using hotkeys, you can get rid of some of the menu stuff and free up some screen real estate.

In the acad.mns (or .mnu) look at the section of accelerator keys this controls your alt- ctrl- and function keys
