horton tread

Anyone have any information regarding "Horton Tread". It is a product used in applications similiar to grating. I am modifying an existing staircase/platform that is attached to the top of a LNG tank, and would like to know the capacity of this product. This particular platform is detailed on a set of plans dated 1973. Thanks in advance.

I think this product is or was made by CBI. Doubt that you can find any information on this but you may try and call CBI.

Thanks for the info Tankman. It turns out that the Horton tread is detailed on a CBI drawing so it sounds like a proprietary product.
