Hollow clay tile wall

I need to connect some new wood framing to an old hollow clay tile wall. Loads are small, but I still need some guidance on how to do this. I believe the existing framing sits in joist pockets. Does anyone have any experience connecting by drilling/epoxy or expansion anchors in these kinds of walls? I would think that is probably not a good idea, but I'm not sure.

Clay tile or "terrazzo" walls are still in common use in the UK and a select few other areas. There are provisions for fixing into this which you should NOT use... Make sure you use a historical building and seis.kc upgrade reference.

Screened epoxy anchors are rated for this material. Loads are pretty small, however.
Check Hilti HY70.

...and adding to what ExcelEngineering said - the ACTUAL capacities can vary a lot depending on age, condition, type of mortar, position of the anchor relative to mortar joints, etc.

I would simply try to pocket into the wall in addition to added grout below to create a more solid bearing.

Oh, and in case you didn't understand: seismic. These are very poor in seismic situations.
