high-voltage, current-limiting diodes? 1

Every CLD I come across tends to be capable of very low voltage at best. Anyone know of a manufacturer of high power CLDs? (in the neighborhood of 100v for a 300ma CLD)

That would be a mighty big diode, as it would be dissipating at least 30 Watts.

I don't think there is much of a market for such, and so I don't think anyone has made any.
 
You could build an equivalent circuit from discretes. <nbucska@pcperipherals.com>

It's clear now from the schematic that a CLD neither looks like nor behaves like a diode.
