Currently we are running at higher Crude throughput and I have seen the following symptom in our Crude Tower:
Whenever the tray 32 vapor temperature above the Kero draw drop below 230 °C i.e. 225 °C, the top temperature would increase by 5 °C which will effect the Naphtha 90% cut.
When we increase the tray temp. back to 230 °C, the top tray temp back to normal. So what we do is we drop the MID P/A flow to raise up the tray 32 temp.
Does the above symptom is an indication of high tray loading or flooding?
