Dear All

I plan to design and construct an experimental setup with ball bearings which are capable of running to very high speeds as 150 000 -200 000 rpm with a rotor radius of 3-7.5 mm. I need the details of the electric motors that can be used for these range.
I would be thankful to you if you can provide a link for such kind of electric motors and/or producers.

That is extremely fast for an electric motor. I have dealt in the past with motors up to 60,000 rpm for high-speed routing on Pella Windows. The motors were long, small-diameter and liquid-cooled. Each motor had a special rack-mount control unit and the whole setup was extremely expensive as I recall. I think there are now some small BLDC motors that can get up to 100,000 rpm.

You might want to also consider an air motor. They can usually get a high rpm at a lower cost.

At the speeds you're talking about you may need to worry about even a small rotor actually flying apart. You'd better calculate your bursting speed.

maybe permanent magnet synchronous motors (brushless) are helpful.
can you provide a link for these kind of suppliers?
