Does anybody know the formula for "Flow Constant" (Cv) for steam for 4" High Performance Baterfly Valve? If you can also give me a tip for information sourse where I can find some kind of flow chart of graph for this type of valve showing amount of steam flow through the valve depending on degree of opening, that would be just perfect.
I'm trying to evaluate valve performance- how well it will react (decrease amount of steam consumed) on the temperature changes of electrolyte heated by the plate heat exchanger if I can increase inlet temeperature by 2-3 deg. F.
