Hidden Line Scale 3

You can't adjust the scale of a line. You can asjust the format and thickness only. You should put that in as an enhancement request. I have seen this question come up twice in the last week amd I know they put in an Enhancement request for it.

baugh is exactly correct. u can change hidden line lineweight only.
any way, if u want to change the scale of those hidden lines, first finish dimensions and other title block details. then save as drg file format.
open this drawing in autocad. here u can change the scale of hidden lines easily.
for this use ltscale command in autocad.
this way only i'm doing for my components.
any comments? any other ways?

These drawings are being converted to .dwg format and I am using ltscale, but I will submit an enhancement request because I would prefer to keep everything in solidworks drawing format as much as possible.
Copying to autocad only creates more work later due to conversion errors, tons of dimstyles and mismatched fonts. I dont want to be fixing up the acad files, that in itself opens up the possibility for more errors.

Some time ago I asked about this, in SW2001+ the line types are based on ACAD ver 13, these can be found in the following file 'swlines.lin' located here:
Program Files\SolidWorks\lang\english
I never got around to having a play, decided to just live with it. But you might want to have a go altering some of the variables. As always I would recomend backing up this file before you play. Not sure if this will work or not.

I have copied the contents of "swlines.lin" below. The positive number is line length & negative number is space "length".
These cannot be changed on the fly though, SW has to be restarted before changes take effect. Hopefully SW will create a bigger variety of selectable lines in future versions.
