Hi speed hi load bearing materials

You don't want to use stainless in bearings.
The only bearings that I recall that handle these loads are the tri-metal connecting rod type. The are usually a steel backing with a layer of lead bronze and then a 0.001" face of babbit.
You could use CI as a backing, but it would need to be high strength.
The other surface is usually a nitrided or carborized steel.
