simple question.
can staad analyse structure with seismic isolation similar to sap2000?

Base Isolators are not in STAAD.pro yet. I asked around and there was some work done on this already and we have the finite element analysis capabilities for Base Isolators, Viscous dampers and uni-axial elements now, but we don't have the user interface and such built for any product yet. STAAD(X) will have it eventually.

Sheesh, I would think y'all would quit making promises about STAAD(X) by now. I first heard about it in 2008.
