Hi everyone,

Please,I have a question relating to fluids. If a liquid has pressure (say 200 kPa) in a closed container. If we make a hole in the container, we know that the water will come out. How we can know the volume of water that coming out until we reach the steady state?
I will really appreciated if you can help.
Thanks in advance.

Amaar.

water is kind of incompressible and the volume change (increase here) from 200kpa to 100kpa is small. So you can calculate the volume increased according to water phase diagram which is a very very small number I would assume.
