Drainage Waste sump pump flow, head and power calculation??


Hi everyone,

Can anyone please explain to me how to calculate the waste sump flow for the drainage and the pump head for it?
Also, I'm having confusion in calculating the power for the waste sump pumps and what do you mean by the residual head for the waste sump pumps, and how to calculate it?

It would just be flow and static lift/friction loss of the pipe. Flow rate is typically derived from the basin dimensions to allow for at least 1 minute of pump run time. I typically get the power requirements from manufacturer's information (pump curve).
