How do you reconcile the geocomposite thickness calculated with HELP3 and what's available on the market.?
I am trying to design a landfill cap that includes a geocomposite layer for lateral drainage. However tt seems that the results calculated with help3 are valid as long as the head on top of the liner is smaller than the geocomposite thickness. In my case, for that to happen I have to specify a geocomposite thinckness of 2.5 cm with hyudraulic conductivity of 60cm/s or 8,4 mm thick geocomposite with a hydraulic conductivity of 140 cm.s . Unfortunately, it seems that those specifications are not available in the market. How do I reconcile the help3 results with the market availability??
A bit of background:
Thanks
