I did liquid limit /plastic limit test of 2 different samples. LL of first sample is found to be 80 while that of other is found to be 30. i am much confused with which soil is more susceptible to landslide occurrence ? Why ? Can anybody reply me linking LL property of soil with change in other geotechnical properties ? Can anybody respond me ?

Typically, higher liquid limit materials will have a lower effective phi angle.

Several relationships between phi angle and plasticity index have been prepared over the years. The two that I use most offten are presented by Lambe and Whitman in Soil Mechanics 1969 and in the 1971 version of NAV FAC 7.
 
Normally the higher the LL, the lower the internal friction angle (phi)therefore the more susceptible to slope failure. Nevertheless, slope stability analyses are a very delicate geotechnical matter and shall always be evaluated by a geotechnical professional. Slope stability depends on slope geometry, type of soil, groundwater, if it is in long term or short term basis, among other aspects. I suggest you let that to a geotech.
 
depends on the sand content, the overconsolidation ratio and the undrained shear strength. I wouldn't trust any correlation that is just based on LL as there are other important variables.
