I need help with creating a populated tabulated BOM in an assembly drawing.

1) I have an assembly created. Lets call it 5000-GENERIC and the family members 5000-001, 5000-002
2) Within the assembly I have a component that is family tabled. Lets call the part 2000-GENERIC and the family table members are called 2000-001, 2000-002.
3) I have the 5000-GENERIC exploded in the first page of the assembly drawing. The second page shows 5000-001 and 5000-002 (unexploded).
4) 5000-001 contains 2000-001 and 5000-002 contains 2000-002
5) In my assembly BOM it shows 2000-GENERIC because that is what's assembled in my exploded 5000-GENERIC

My question is how do I get the BOM to show 2000-001 and 2000-002 and filter out 2000-GENERIC?

Hi Tesla77,

Im not sure which WF you use or Creo maybe, but Im presuming that you using WF4 or 5.
First you open table file, than select this table (highlighted), than click from menu Table-->Repeat region, select cell where is you ID for part/instance, than you will have TBL REGIONS dialog box where you can find option Bln By Part. Select this and save. Now try to generate new BOM list with saved table.

Im not sure if this work for family table but you can give a try

Hope it helps :)

sorry i missed this.... Table --> Repeat Region --> Attributes --> Bln By Part
