I've been using solidworks for probably 3 years now, but I'm a total rookie with macros. I'm trying to create a table of 3D points for a piece of tubing that we want to get cnc-bent. I found the FAQ that exports it to excel, but it's not working for me. When i try to run it, I get the following message at the line "Dim exApp As Excel.Application":

Compile Error:
User defined type not defined.

Any ideas as to how I can cure this? Also, I would like to take it a step further and have the table inside my drawing instead of in a seperate file, so if anybody has ideas on how to do that I'd love to hear em. Thanks a lot

You probably do not have a link to Excel in your macro VBA project.

Go to "Tools --> References" and look for something like "Microsoft Excel xx.xx Object Library".
