help me find the right Config.Pro

So i did a search, and it give me a bunch of Config.Pro. How do i know which one i can tweak? and also, when i start pro E, the first window it gives me is to select a start up directory. So if i choose one, does it automatically pull up the config.pro from that folder?

Once in Pro/E, under the Help tab is a system information list that will show what files were loaded when you started.

You can set this in two places one in this place that Ben discribed and one in the setup creen when you first loaded Pro. You can re access this in the PTC program folder but off the top of my head I dont remeber the picks for doing so Later this evening I will post where to do this. The you can edit the config options as Ben told you and save them to your load directory and Pro will see it everytime it gets launched.

No need to tweak. Either put it in the Directory that your Shortcut icon is set to start Pro/E in
[Shortcut]
Target: "C:\Program Files\0000_WF4\bin\proe.exe"
Start in:"C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Docs\cad\_ProE\0000_WF4"

If you place the config file at
"C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Docs\cad\_ProE\0000_WF4\config.pro" it will load it when you launch proE otherwise you can go to tools Options hit the Open icon and browse to it. Then Apply your settings and close the Options window.
