Helix dimensions are where?

First time since upgrading to SW2005 that I had to use helix. It used to be that one could double-click the helix in the feature tree and the dimensions would show up. Doesn't seem to be the case now.

Anyone else notice this bit-o'-WTF?

The only thing that doesn't show is the base diameter of the Helix. To get the base Dia, I have to drill down to the sketch level. Everthing else shows up fine, both before & after creating a sweep.

I'm using SW05-SP0.0 ... what SP are you using?

Tick,

I'm using SW2005 SP3.0 and have noticed the same thing. I thought maybe it was just me and it had always been that way.

SW2005 SP3.1 here.

On my last job I made a lot of torsion springs. I would take the time to rename and label spring dimensions and parameters. Now I can't. Also, how is one to link spring parameters to equations without access to the dimensions?!

So you guys aren't getting any dimensions showing?

I think this was resolved in sp4 or sp5 maybe.

If I double click the sweep that I made with the helix I get the dimensions of the helix, if I double click the helix itself I don't get anything.

Sounds like it's time to upgrade the SP [smile] ... or rollback to 0.0 [sad]
