I have reach 1, 2 and 3. reach 1 and 2 meet at junction 1 and reach 3 is d/s of it. i have all the x-sections laid out and the model set to run. now i want to go back and add a reach 4, which will meet reach 1 u/s of junction 1, say they meet at new junction 1, then eventually flows down to junction 2 (which was junction 1 before) to meet reach 2, and then to reach 3. every time i try to insert a reach 4 and tie to reach 1 at a new junction, hec-ras will tie it at the very beginning of reach 1. any suggestions on how i can do what i want to do? i hope i could explain my situation correctly.

It has been a while but I think you need to break Reach 1 in to two reaches and then ad your new reach. This will give you a total of 5 reaches with 2 junctions. Hopefully this works. Good luck.
