Hi,

Can anyone suggest me how to generate heating curve in HYSYS? I have done this in PRO-II but I am not sure how to generate heating curve in HYSYS.

Thanks in advance!

double click on a stream - Attachments Tab - Utilities - Create - Property Table - ...then

hi

Under Connections Tab
variable 1 - temperature
mode - incremental (specify range and # of increments)

variable 2 - pressure
mode - state (specify the required pressure);
Note: if there is a change of phase, the curves at 2 different pressures might be useful

Under Dep. properties Tab
specify the properties you want to be shown by clicking "Add"

Then type "Calculate"
and see results under Performance/ Table

hope this helps

good luck
