heat treatment- annealing

hai guys,im new here..im doing researches on PEEK materials and having some problems with the annealing process..is there any SOP for composite/polymer annealing? and my material is 100mm x 50mm x 17mm, should i cut it to small pieces first before annealing or after, because i need a sample for XRD..
