Dear All,

We are in 3D model review phase of a petrochemical plant. We are facing trouble for getting access to heat exchanger (vertical) bottom channel flange during maintenance.

Bottom flange is surrounded by steel structure which is required for platform to access operational nozzles. It seems that it is not possible to dismantle bottom channel flange unless grating and structural beams are removed in case of maintenance requirement.

Can anyone help to provide guidelines like
1. What is minimum lateral space required from heat exchanger channel to surrounding structure?
2. What is minimum vertical head room required on either side of channel flanges?

Regards,
