Gyro for human chair - bicycle wheels?

Does anyone know of design projects/information on using (force?) gyros (say electric motor driven bicycle wheels) for stability of a chair supported by gymbals.
Google gives lots of hits on "electronic" gyros but this is not what is required - I need some "force" output.
