Group size for battery replacement confusion

Small generator needs battery and calls for a U-1

The local Canadin Tire store has these listed below
I don't understand the group size numbers
Will they work in place of the U-1
What does U-134 stand for anyway?


U134 / 235 CCA,
8.5 x 5.4 x 8.5"
U116 / 340 CCA,
8.5 x 5.4 x 8.5"
