Got my new PC, Intel Core i5 750 8GB RAM, nVidia quadro FX1700, on XP64 (win7 64 downgrade for now) - I posted previously when 2010 would run on my old processor.
Still on 2009 for now.
I have some issues that I'll refer to as automatic geometry dumbing.
A sketch in my assembly model, which is complex as its a messy imported dwg, is visible in my drawing. when I zoom in close the sketch vanishes. It vanishes at a bigger zoom if I am displaying a more complex part of the sketch. It makes it very difficult to work with.
Also, perhaps related, when I open the drawing always <View> hide all types is checked (and in the assembly too).
Why is that? That's not what I want!
Been winding all the performance related settings up and down to no avail. My VAR had a copy and says it displays fine on his machine. Tried software opengL - no difference.
The FX1700 is running the last certified XP64 driver - 6.14.11.8246
any ideas?
