Does anyone have a good value for the Poisson's ratio for GPO3 glass-polyester? Using .3 I seeminimal stresses in the simulation, yet it fails in a real life test.

Thanks,

Gene

Researching further, it seems to be a transversely isotropic material, requiring two values each for Poisson's ratio, Young's modulus (E), and shear modulus to define it. Reasonable values gratefully appreciated!

Were you able to find any information? I am starting an FEA on a GPO-3 components and am looking for information.
