Gold plated contacts soldered to pcb

Good Afternoon:
I am inquiring about any metallurgical or otherwise reactions that may take place as a result of using tin-lead solder to fix gold plated contact leads to printed circuit boards?



 
We always used tin/lead solder that also had 2% silver content when soldering gold. I'd have to do some research to recall why though.
