Globoidal Cam Design

Hi Guys,

I just started with a new project about cam indexer design, but don´t have much information about how the design the "wedge profile", maybe somebody can help me with their experience, I´m designing the cam profile on Pro/Engineer, but I don´t understand too much how this modified barrel cam function.
