getting the same results while mesh size is changing-UMAT

Hi All,
I am modelling damage and plasticity in UMAT, ABAQUS.
My main question is that I am wondering why my results like yield stress , ultimate stress will be constant as I have changed the mesh size? For example for mesh size =0.2 and mesh size equal 0.00002.
I would say I model damage and plasticity in UMAT code.
Because, i am going to study mesh convergence and I don't know how can I able if mesh changing and resulats is same.. it is not pssible

I am looking forward to hearing.
