German Standard Equivalent for Machining 2

Hi Guys ,
I got a Print from Germany for two parts to be made for local mfg. co.,the standard they use for this particular part is DIN 7168, Is there any Perfect Equivalent for this Standard

I believe that is an old standard and has now been replaced by ISO 2768, not sure if that actually helps you any.

I believe the others are correct that the is replaces the DIN but...

If the DIN is specified on the drawing it may be more correct to use that, although they're broadly equivalent.

However, I had a lot of trouble when dealing with this spec, the German vendors interpretation of certain aspects didn't mesh with my interpretation (or that of the US rep for the German Company).

Also if you get hold of the ISO spec, which you probably should, take a long hard look at the last section.
