Would anyone like to vouch for GeoKrete Geopolymer?
Our municipality usually rehabs our manholes that have been deteriorated by H2S with calcium aluminate and then an epoxy coating. A contractor has requested we try a geopolymer instead. Could anyone speak to the performance of this material? What kind of surface prep is required? Ambient temperatures a factor in cure time? It sounds like the epoxy step could be eliminated? Am I understanding correctly?
Thank you in advance for any information you might provide.
