Gear Relationship Option

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knows about the "Gear Relationship option". I currently have V18 setup. What I am trying to do is to setup 2 gears in an assembly window.

I select the spur gear and choosed the Add Relationship button from the SmartStep ribbon bar. Click the small drop arrow to see all the ssembly relationship options, BUT I DO NOT SEE THE GEAR RELATIONSHIP OPTION.

Does anyone know why. Is there a patch I could download?

yep - it's the V19 upgrade!

I see !

Then how would have a gear (rotating motion) and rack moving (linear motion) move simultaneously in V18. I am doing an assembly.

Our company just got V18, so I do not think we will get V19 at any time.
