Hello,
I am looking for information on the use of GCPT (gamma CPT) on tailings to assess in situ density. It seems that passive gamma logging (i.e. measuring gamma radiation from soil to assess fines content) is a more common use of this tool. However, I have read that these tools can also use active gamma source and measure the backscatter to assess density. Does anyone know of any relevant references, or examples of this?
Thanks
