Greetings!!!

My name is Diana, I'm from México. At work, me and some other people are developing a small device taht must be waterproof, but still be reparable. So we are thinking in sealing it with a gasket.

We need to keep the device as small as possible. At start we were told to use a 1.2 mm round extrusion of EPDM put into a 1.2 wide x 1 mm deep channel and a 1 mm wide x 1 mm tall wall to press it. But this lacks of any theorical base. Do you know about some book for small gaskets design that we could use?

Thanks a lot!

The Parker o-ring handbook is good. Search using those words and you'll find it.
