I am attempting to optimize the linearity of gas flow (oxygen) through a needle valve from 0-12 L/min and I am having a hard time relating any of equations back to the area of the valve opening (orifice).

I have setup a test rig to be able to accurately measure input and output pressures, temperature, and flow rate. With this setup I can calculate for my valve coefficient (Cv) but how do I take this information to solve for the area of the orifice?
