Fuel Gas Requirement

Good day All,

How can I determine the fuel gas requirement for a gas turbine generator?

Make it easy Ask turbine vendor. In reality it will be much more accurate. The calculation you can do is only guess.

Sometimes turbine vendors can be VERY slow getting back to an engineer, especially if they think it will not directly lead to a sale.

So in general for concepts etc: Assume approx. 1/3 thermal efficiency and use the heat of compustion of your fuel gas to calculate the rate.
