I am trying to calculate the pressure drop in a hydraulic manifold. Does anybody know the friction factor for a machined hole (using a hss twist drill)? All the information I found so far is for pipe.
Does anybody have resistance coefficients for intersecting holes whose axis are offset (don't intersect). I am mainly looking for 90 Degree bends but other angles would also be useful. I am assuming the intersection of two machined holes as 90 Degree mitre bend. If this is not correct, does anybody have any better data?
