Freeform Modeling

Hello all, I am fairly new to Solidworks and am using Solidworks 2003. What I am trying to model is commonly referred to as a pushnut or palnut depending on who you talk to. The problem that I am having is creating the tabs. I don't know if there is a tool to mesh curves or bridge curves to create that feature. I have attached a 2D drawing of what I am trying to model. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Start by creating a flat washer as a Sheet Metal part.
Cut-extrude and Circular pattern the shape per image #1.
Use the Sketch Bend tool to create the tabs per images #2 & #3.
