Free software steel section check

Hello to everybody,
someone here can tell me if there is free software to use in steel section design check? Or excel tools where i can have user-section geometry. I need to perform check in ASD load combination.

go to steeltools.org; plently of free Excel sheets. The ones written by Alex Tomanovich are generally excellent.

Thank you. I was already there, but I didn't find any about check steel beam sections. Someone can help me to find them? Thank you!

You might want to look at the apps at

There is an app called "Steel Columns" and another called "Steel Beams" and a beam data base called "Steel Shapes" and other apps. These apps are very inexpensive.
