I was wondering if anyone has a formula for figuring out the length of a conveyor belt rolled up on a spool.

Here's one I found, I can't tell you if it works or not...

Belt length in feet = A x number of coils x 0.131

A = Diameter of coil in inches + Diameter of coil hole in inches

L = (3.14/2T)(od-id)

where
T is thickness of each layer
L is length of roll
od = outside diameter
id = inside diameter

Use consistent units and conversion factors.

I use this one and it works all the time.

L = NS X .2618

Where L = length
N = Number of turns on belt
S = Measured inches between ends on roll of belt
