Does any one can help me?
I am looking for activation energy of Methyl Ether formation from MeOH .

CH3-OH ---> CH3-0-CH3 + H2O

What are the optimal conditions (P and T, catalyst) for these reaction to take place.

Is there any database on the internet for activation energy of different reactions?

Thank you all

Hi Camarena,
see this reference:

G. Bercic et al., "Catalytic Dehydration of Methanol to Dimethyl Ether. Kinetic Investigation and Reactor Simulation", Ind. Eng. Chem. Res., 32, 2478-2484 (1993).

I hope this will help you.

Best Regards.
