Force required to move piston through a lubricated "o" ring

Hi All,
We are looking for HELP from any person who might have done some work on Pistons been pushed through lubricatd "o'ring or "U"seal.The pressure on the seal would be between 30 and 300 bar.The size of the piston would be is 3 or 6 mm(1/8 or 1/4).The force would be hydraulic.
Any assistance would be of help

I tend to allow a 3 to 5% loss of output thrust on any Hydraulic Cylinder due to "stiction" of the seal in contact with the cylinder bore. You tend to get an initial surge of pressure to break the piston out and get it moving. However having said all this it depends largely on the materials involved, the lubricity of ther fluid and the operating temperatures.
