For all of you dc motor experts out there, I want to replace a 12 VDC permanent magnet gearmotor with a stepper type motor because I need to know the position of the shaft at all times. My current motor does not have a sensor built-in and I don't really want to have to take them appart and modify them to acheive this. If you go to the following site: " , you will see the Dayton motor P/N 2L005. Up to 4 RPM is OK but I need at least the same torque or better. If anyone can recommend a source and/or part number, it would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, if you could find something in a $50 - 60 price range .... even better.

Thanks

Mark
