Foam pipe size when converting EFRT to IFR by covering Aluminium dome.

Hi all.

We want to install aluminium dome in a 23m dia EFR tank. As it gets converted to IFR tank after installing aluminium dome, should the existing foam pipe size be changed ? Is there any specific content in OISD relating this issue? If so kindly mention the OISD code. And experts, pls share your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

In the USA it depends of if the internal floating cover qualifies for rim seal protection or must have full-surface protection. The National Fire Protection Agency document NFPA-11 clarifies this. Perhaps your country has similar rules?
