Hi
I try to cheek heat points on a double feed rotor from a wind turbine generator, this is a rotor to feed with 1800 V with a VFD with a 5 khz PWM control of the output so ripple will be on 5 khz on the voltage.... i have dismounted it, so i introduce 30 turns with 120 A on the magnetic circuit, this means....the rotor have some air passages on the magnetic core so i pass the wires and border rotor on its outside surface....and i checked that no heating up of the rotor... so i wonder if this magnetic core is special or something like that....
