I need help... truly an understatement
I am attempting to use an electromagnetic flow meter to measure a batched volume of liquid. I am connecting it to a high speed counter on a PLC. Has anyone had any experience with the outputs from a Krohne meter?

The manual provides 3 options for the wiring outputs. I have no idea how/which way to wire it up.

The meter is a 1/2" Krohne batchflux. It has 4 pin outs, 1&4 are for 24VDC power, 2&3 are for pulses and/or status depending upon wiring option.

Here's my problems, as I know them now:

-how to modify/choose the wiring setup I am using (making the meter understand).
-How to verify I'm getting a pulsed output. (currently my counter is not providing a "present value", and is only reset manually).

ANY AND ALL advice is greatly appreciated.

have you tried to contact krohne company? i think they should be able to tell you all you need to know (however i thought this up...)

also, they have a quite extensive download center, which has a section on "Installation and Operating Instructions", which should give you a first rate of information. link to their download center is posted below.
